Connect TikTok to RevenueCat
See which TikTok posts produced a subscription or a subscriber in RevenueCat. Setup takes one connection on each side, and no TikTok ads are required.
What you get
TikTok's figures beside RevenueCat's subscription revenue and subscriber count, and a campaign whose attribution confidence stays at possible-influence rather than claiming a store install it cannot see.
Setting it up
- Paste your TikTok account. Epoyo reads what is public and works out what you sell, who buys it and what counts as a conversion. No account is needed for this step.
- Connect TikTok. Authorise read access to a TikTok account. Epoyo reads followers, views and interactions at the account level, and views, likes, comments, shares and saves on the individual posts it reads, and cannot publish, edit or delete anything.
- Connect RevenueCat. Create a v2 secret API key in your RevenueCat dashboard and paste it into Epoyo. It begins with sk_, the shape is checked before any request leaves the machine, and it is sealed before it is stored. You can optionally name a project to scope the read.
- Give each destination its own code. A single bio link tells you TikTok sent traffic. A coded destination per post is what lets RevenueCat report a subscription or a subscriber back against the video that caused it.
The part that catches people out
The App Store breaks the chain. Your link sends someone to a store listing, they install the app hours later, and the store hands your app no memory of the link they came from. Nobody solves this perfectly, and a tool claiming otherwise is estimating.
Worth knowing about TikTok
TikTok allows one link in the bio, and opens it in an in-app browser that usually strips the referrer. Both facts push you towards coded destinations rather than referrer-based reporting.
Worth knowing about RevenueCat
Mobile app installs cross the App Store or Play Store, and the store does not carry your link code across that boundary. This pair is the one place where part of the chain is genuinely approximate, and the pages say so rather than pretending otherwise.
Common questions
- How much of this is actually traceable?
- The share varies with how you route people. Sending traffic to a web page that captures the code before handing off to the store preserves far more of the chain than linking straight to the store listing.
- Why not just use install attribution?
- Install attribution answers a different question, and its accuracy on organic social is limited by the same store boundary. Epoyo grades each campaign by the evidence the coded chain actually supports, rather than claiming an install it cannot see.
